Biography
The Anax: Call of the Cursed One
In The Anax: Call of the Cursed One, Moonbeam is part of the Female Phantom Finders, a group which involves Evelyn Addams. They had heard of hauntings on a nearby island, so went to check it out. In the novel, Moonbeam actively wants to free The Anax from his curse. Her abilities backfire on her though after his summoning.

Moonbeam is a member of the all woman paranormal society called the Female Phantom Finders. Moonbeam and her sister, Daydream, both grew up in Sugar Loaf, New York, a small hamlet near the town of Chester. Basically an artistic community full of free spirits and love. Moonbeam's hippie parents always supported her and let her become or do whatever she wanted. Being raised so freely, she learned she could feel what other people felt. As she honed this inherent skill, she became an empathic medium. Often, she could sense what the spirits of an area felt, and sometimes, she could even let them reside in her body for a few minutes to speak to the living. This led her to meet Shiloh and Kaya, and Moonbeam had great fun on the ghost hunts. When Evelyn joined the group, the four of them made a great team because Moonbeam could sense things one might not realize were hiding, and Eve could directly hear and communicate with the dead around them. Moonbeam’s intuition led her to the possessed Evelyn, and through her Light magic and her goddess, she managed to exorcise the foul Dagan Erebus from Eve. She has looked very forward to freeing The Anax from darkness.
Transformation
The Anax used a psychic link with Moonbeam to slowly corrupt her. When he saw her and Eve, he used Moonbeam’s own powers to charm both women, but the illusion failed. Eve tried to save her friend, but she finally left her to The Anax. He reached into Moonbeam's mind, and used her tyrannophobia to undo the last vestiges of her goodness. In her corruption to become a Shadowed, Moonbeam was subjected to opposing political views from her very liberal position. The Anax pretends to be the government in Moonbeam's thoughts, telling her how much she hates marijuana. She keeps trying to deny, but he twists her words. The effect is continued in her journey from being a vegan to a meat eater. She is slowly corrupted into loving a police state. She becomes a perfect christian, dry heaving as it happens. She disagrees with science, her corruption nearly complete. She bawls admitting she likes shooting animals. When threatened to be a housewife for the rest of her days, she instantly agrees to sell the government her soul.

Notes and Trivia
When the group of women first arrived on Ghost Nook Island, Moonbeam was optimistic, but the further inland they traveled- the darker she felt. When they checked Ravenhurst Manor, The Anax managed to sense her standing inside the music room with him. Moonbeam’s thoughts, her very brainwaves traveled between dimensions, he tried to warp her mind, and though Eve interrupted, he found a small link. When she neared the Twisted Tree, that link grew stronger, and soon, The Anax manipulated her thoughts causing her to enjoy the darkness. When he appeared, she fled into the woods. Her addled mind had trouble focusing, but she eventually found her way to the south, only to discover the destroyed boat. Then a rain fell, and she sought refuge under a log and smoked pot to try and help her mind focus. However, the drug failed, and through her psyche, more darkness slowly dripped. Eve happened upon her, and The Anax felt that moment, and went to capture Evelyn.
Once Moonbeam was enslaved, she tried to help her Master find the women by utilizing her psychic abilities. When she faced off with Evelyn, she realized that Eve had grown far more powerful than Moonbeam, possibly even stronger than even The Anax himself, and she fled to get the other Shadowed. Eve banished Moon with the other girls, but within the cold, cruel confines of the Outer Darkness, Moonbeam can still utilize her powers. She has become obsessed with her sister, Daydream, and desires to corrupt her sister's soul.
