The Anax: Call of the Cursed One
In The Anax: Call of the Cursed One, Luella is briefly seen in the perspective of Anaximanes Ravenhurst. She is the daughter of the preacher Roger Addams. She is more prominent in the novel as a ghost.

Luella Addams was Roger Addams middle daughter. He spoiled her terribly, and from her birth, she had anything she desired. This caused her to be quite complacent, and she fancied that she would marry a rich man someday so that she would never need to work. Eliza Day taught her in school, and she begged Anaximanes Ravenhurst to attend his wedding, not because she liked him- she did not, rather, she wanted to see her schoolmistress in a wedding dress. After the scrap Anaximanes and Roger had in Wakefield, she set out with her sisters to locate Ravenhurst, and found him at Eliza’s grave. She followed Gloria’s cue, and went to fetch the angry mob, and those people took Ravenhurst to his death. She ran away with Gloria at the formation of The Anax, and became lost in the woods.

Biography
Luella died just hours before Gloria, in the Haunted Woods due to ailment. She watched her sister hold her corpse until she shed her own, and Luella welcomed Gloria into the afterlife. Together, they spent time in the woods, attempting to find their way out- and eventually succeeded! However, when they reached their home, no one could see nor hear them. By this point, her mother felt mad with grief at the loss of two of her children, and they arrived just moments before a carriage came to take their father, Roger Addams, to an asylum. She cried as the ghost of Gloria held her tightly. Their father shouted about The Anax, shadows, and madness, and away he went.
Luella, especially, tried to communicate with her sister, to no avail, until Evelyn (Evelyn Addams's namesake) used an Ouija board. Luella went to fetch Gloria, and the two found they could communicate with their sister through the board. This went on for some time, until their mother caught Evelyn using the board, and not only destroyed it, but also dragged Evelyn from the home. They departed, and though Luella and Gloria attempted to follow, once they reached the southern border of the area, they found themselves teleported back to their decayed bodies in the woods. There would be no escape for the two girls from Ghost Nook Island. They stayed in their house, watching as Wakefield become nothing more than a ghost town over the decades, and every Halloween, they hid from The Anax as he patrolled the land seeking souls for his boon. Then, Eve Addams, by luck or fate, found the two girls in their home, and they regaled their sad tale, yet their words affected the rest of the night, for they divulged to Eve that The Anax appeared every Halloween! Eve rushed back to the woods as Luella and Gloria waved farewell!

After Luella and Gloria watched Evelyn rush off to escape with her friends, the two ghost girls floated back into their home. There, they talked until the sunset, and then they retreated to their yearly hiding places. Luella hid inside her armoire, and Gloria hid up the chimney. Little did either girl realize what would happen next. For over a century, The Anax went through the town every Halloween, but he did not search every possible space, and he had no idea that either Luella or Gloria haunted the island. However, his obsession to find Eve, the very girl they meant to help, sent him looking everywhere he could think of, and where else to start his search, but the old Addams house! He found Luella first, hiding in her armoire, and after twisting her soul into his service, she happily led him to Gloria.

After Luella's transformation, Gloria tried to escape. Luella was as incorporeal as she was, and Luella brought her back to The Anax. He remembered how cruel Gloria had been, and delighted in corrupting her soul. He made her eighteen-year-old sister, Luella, fornicate with her, and only after she had cried and begged the assault to stop, did he warp her essence, instilling his dark will within her. After he finished having fun, The Anax left the home, putting the Addams ghosts to guard duty. When Evelyn and the group of women she hid with, stumbled upon the pair, the ghosts set about trying to possess the living. Luella possessed the spoiled Lexus, and gave her to The Anax upon his arrival. When the sun rose the next day, Luella’s spirit fled into the Shadowlands where she still haunts at The Anax’s side.
