Wakefield

Introduction

Wakefield is a rural town in New York. It is the town nearest Ravenhurst Manor, and has been prominent in the past as well as the present. There are several notable locations, including the church and a tavern/inn. The church is important for the significance it holds over the Addams, with Roger Addams being a prominent preacher. The tavern led to Calis Van Gothen's eventual demise. Wakefield has since become a ghost town.

Biography

In The Anax: Call of the Cursed One, Wakefield is prominent in each perspective. From the perspective of Anaximanes, Wakefield was the homely town where Ravenhurst met Eliza Day, and scuffled with Roger Addams. In Evelyn Addams perspective, Wakefield is a ghost town where Evelyn finds recluse as she hides from The Anax.
