Biography
Pre-Phantom: Revenge
Thomas Pratt had a very decent childhood. He grew up in a wealthy family, graduated a year early with all honors, and started medical school right after. However, in medical school, he found out he could make a lot of money by stealing medications and selling them to other students. This earned him the nickname, ‘Doc’. In fact, by the time they expelled him, Doc had made his first million. After that, his family practically disowned him, but he had his sights on money, and he began to make his own drugs. His heroin, in particular, made him famous in the underground of Ohio, and when he came onto the scene in 2010, he made money hand over fist. What he was doing was adding other chemicals to the heroin to cause it to be far more potent. This made his ‘clients’ all the more willing to pay higher prices, however, by 2016, his heroin had resulted in thousands of deaths, to the point that his clients declined. Time passed and new plans formed. Doc ended up moving his operation to New York City.
He found all new clients, and because of the corruption and size of the city, he managed to get his hands on many other things. Doc also set up a great front by having a fake medical clinic, and putting it at 42d Street in Manhattan. He met Weasel and Dagan, by happenstance, when Weasel happened to be buying pot from him. The two heard a woman screaming in the alley behind the false clinic. When they peep out, they saw a man raping a woman. She saw them and put out a hand begging them to help, but the man, whom was Dagan Erebus, told them that when he was done, she would have sex with them both, if they would just keep quiet. The two looked hesitant to take up his offer, until Dagan grunted and growled how he owned the woman now. Instead of reaching her hand and crying for help, she began moaning and laughing, and Dagan slid out and dropped her onto the cold wet pavement.
He casually pulled up his trousers, and buttoning a blazer walked over to Doc and Weasel. Doc wondered why he would let his victim go, but as Dagan walked towards them, the woman got to her feet, and nude from the waist down began walking towards the men as well. Dagan reached them first and said he always kept his word. That night Doc and Weasel used the woman repeatedly, and Dagan saw Doc’s little operation. He told the criminal that he could make the operation even large- making Doc richer. So, there between Eighth and 11th Avenues, Dagan paid people to act as lookouts, and before long Doc’s clinic was more of a fortress. To help further, Dagan bribed police, or simply corrupted the female cops, and took a cut of Doc’s profits. Dagan found Doc to be a trustworthy minion, and used him, occasionally, for odd jobs. He trusted Doc enough to entrust the grimoire to the man.
Phantom: Revenge
In Phantom: Revenge, Doc is one of Dagan Erebus's goons. He is a drug dealer, and paired with Weasel, helps resurrect Dagan. The two then help with the corruption of Amelia Williams.
