Chieko's Explorers

Introduction

Chieko's Explorers are a subfaction of the CereSurvivors. The Explorers are headed by Chieko Naru. They go around, finding innocents and victims in the Anaxverse, to help save them.

Information

Once the cereborg threat had been dealt with, Howard and Chieko set about getting the survivors in order. The group voted on whether to stay in the facility or to go, and it was decided that everyone should go out to find their loved ones. Once locked in as the plan, the survivors worked hard to prepare themselves for the outside world. Though they did not fully grasp the magnitude of the infectulon invasion, they knew some sort of alien attack occurred, and prepared biosuits, medical packs, lasers- anything that Cerebrum’s nanites had not compromised. The survivors also broke off into three separate classes- scientist, explorer, and warrior.

The explorers are led by Chieko Naru. The don high-end technological biohazard suits. These suits filter out any potentially harmful airborne particles. They are not as thick as body armor, but are very resilient to tears and the glass facemask is unbreakable to all but the strongest attacks. The explorers also had to prove themselves agile, healthy, and strong. Chieko herself led their daily regimen of exercises based on the teachings of her grandfather. These people are the scouts and are best suited for guerilla warfare, striking the enemy and quickly pulling back. They often risk their lives to pull infectulon groups away from larger swarms in order for the warriors to spring up and slaughter the aliens.

Biography

Cereborg: Inception

In Cereborg: Inception, Chieko's Explorers are briefly met in Emily's final chapter. Seen a couple of months after the defeat of Cerebrum, they are getting ready to venture out into a transformed world.
