Biography
Pre-The Anax: Call of the Cursed One
Katelyn’s twin and Evelyn’s sister, Brittany Addams is the self-righteous leader of a fake witches coven. She does tarot card readings and pretends to be psychic, to bilk rich socialites from their money. She has also built her ‘coven’ by convincing the daughters of these wealthy families that they also have powers, and she uses all of them for her own gain. She covets Eve’s Book of Shadows, desiring it for herself and telling her clique that the Librarian originally meant for Brittany to obtain the tome.
When she heard that Eve needed more women in order to perform the spell in the book, she volunteered her coven to fill in the numbers. Of course, her reasons were selfish, as she desires to take the book for herself and summon The Anax. Brittany assumes that if she can perform a real spell, her group will be even more enthralled with her, and she could use them to get even richer! Though Evelyn almost canceled the entire trip, Brittany personally convinced her to go, all while waiting to get her hands on the Book of Shadows when the time is right.
The Anax: Call of the Cursed One
In The Anax: Call of the Cursed One, Brittany is the sister of Evelyn Addams. She is the lead of her coven, though she lacks actual magic power. Brittany took the Book of Shadows from Eve and attempted, fruitlessly, to summon The Anax. With no actual magical power, she failed in front of her friends, but kept making excuses, until the sunset. At that moment, just as Eve came to warn everyone to run, a portal to the Outer Darkness opened, and The Anax stepped through it. She tried to take credit, which only brought her more into his focus, and though she and Evelyn fled the scene, he caught them. Brittany was in the midst of apologizing about her treatments when she was captured.
The Anax granted her a piece of himself, and she carried it inside her womb awaiting the chance to infect her sister, Eve, with the shadow worm, but the moment never came. Somehow, Eve managed to become very powerful, and with absolute surprise, she managed to bind Brittany using a spell. As a last ditch effort to stop Eve, Brittany gathered all the Shadowed at one place, and led an assault on her sister- only to be defeated and banished into the Outer Darkness. Now, she obeys and loves The Anax, her old life and thoughts worthless, as she focuses only on ways to further aid him in his dark schemes. Unknown to Eve, Brittany calls on The Anax at all times, inside the Shadowlands, trying to convince him not to trust Eve, and she teaches him things about Evelyn that he could use to manipulate her. Brittany is as selfish and cruel in death as she was in life.

Evelyn and Brittany fled The Anax, but he caught them. Brittany was the first woman that night to be enslaved to his darkness. In her corruption to become a Shadowed, The Anax had Brittany stranded in a large desert. She was to live through her autophobia. He said nothing to her, and allowed her to live without food or drink. She spent years in this desert, utterly alone the entire time. She spends the years commenting to herself that nobody likes her, and that she remains alone. When The Anax finally spoke to her, she came to him with adoring eyes; longing for any sense of relation. She gave herself to him then and there, body and soul, for him to twist and corrupt as he pleased.
