Terrorbots
The Terrorbots
The supervillain known as Terrorbyte was not always robotic. She was originally a hacker in the 1980's. She first hacked into private industry before cracking into the Pentagon. This caused widespread panic, and the government wasted no taxpayer money in locating her. She had been tempted to start a nuclear war, just to see what it would be like, but never did. She was captured and sentenced to prison. However, the government came and made her a deal- if she worked for them, she could have access to tech she could never have imagined existed.
She agreed and found the tech was partially backwards engineered technology from the spacecraft the crashed in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. It turned out they wanted to use the tech to hack the minds of Russian spies. She could not believe it was real, but when she tested it, she found that the device could, in fact, decompile all the data of the abstract concept of a mind, abstract to s human's at least, and she could use it to hack though the mental defenses of the trained KGB agents.
She played nice at first and gave the government what they wanted. However, once they lowered their guard, she used the device for her own ends, leaving bits of her own code in the minds of the agents. When the agents suddenly rose up at the same time, chaos broke out in the installation, and she used her new slaves to capture and reprogram the governmental officials. By the time help came, it appeared as if it had all been a false alarm. Over time her power grew, but she became exposed.
As the assassination team cleared the complex, she saw no hope except for one. Using the machine, she hacked into the government's internet, SIPRNet, and managed to slip herself into the code just as her physical body was killed. Hidden as nothing but binary, she rifled through the top secret and classified information, and found a type of robot being worked on. She eventually downloaded herself into it, and though rudimentary at the time, in the 80's, she escaped the lab where it was being constructed.
She hid, and as time went on, she acquired better technology by breaking into homes and killing the occupants or doing the same to labs. By the year 2010 she had managed to eke out a corner of organized crime. Her new body was constantly upgraded, and she had been able to replicate, to some degree, the tech from the spacecraft. Using it, she could hack human brains and even replace their biological parts with robotic ones. Eventually, she had a small army of drones, little more than nodes in her own mental program, their humanity gone. Now, she desires to hack the minds of everyone in New York City at once, using the city as the staging ground for world domination. Can Trixie manage to stop her, or will she become a reprogrammed cyborg willing to aid in the subjugation of humanity?
