Swarmsworn
The Swarmsworn
With the sudden and inexplicable death and disappearance of bees around the world, MedUSA vowed to help. They were losing profits in countless countries over the lack of bee pollination. One researcher, a bee keeper hobbyist as well, worked tirelessly on the project. As her superiors ordered results, they suggested she utilize the very same xenopox serum seen in Desideratum: Blood Bonds to find a way to strengthen bees. If the bees could be made stronger and able to work longer, survive longer, and be even smarter about their work, it would not only solve the bee problem, making MedUSA a hero in the eyes of their consumer slaves, but it would increase the profits!
As one might expect when one plays with the blood of a god, things did not go well. Any normal bees seemed to die, but she did find promise in wasps. In an attempt to mutate a wasp with a bee, she created a monster. This mutant insect grew quickly and managed to break out of the sealed lab. It injected her with its poison just as help arrived, and it was slain. The affect on her was immediate, with the influx of xenopox in her body from the wasp mutant, she transformed. Her pheromones can make humans into her willing drones and with a single sting she can turn them into mutant slaves. Queen Sting is cold and calculating, but also egotistical. She desires to take over the world, if possible, and turn everyone into obedient, efficient workers. Can Trixie face off against her swarm and survive, or will she become a honeypot for the Queen?
