Amphibimen are fully amphibious monsters, capable of breathing both in and out of the water. They possess large, webbed hands that end with sharp claws. Their thick, plated, and scaly skin stands extremely tough, which combined with a fast-acting healing factor, allows them to survive wounds which would be fatal to humans. They are many times as physically powerful as a human. As with most humanoid monster species, they are naturally all born male and require a human female to reproduce. They typically hunt at night seeking food in the sea, but when the mating season comes, usually in the middle of summer, they will swarm beaches at night in the hopes of pulling hapless women into the brine. There, through their bites and scratches, the female’s DNA mutates, and within days, she is no longer held prisoner, a willing mate for the amphibiman that claimed her.
