Toxsick

The Toxsick

Toxsicka was originally named Envira Mentha, an advocate for climate accords and she wanted to see all pollution end. Her heart broke as she watched the world dying, species being driven to extinction, and the suffering of humans with birth defects and health issues. Her ideology grew traction, as she used social media as a platform. As an activist she flew around the world, making documentaries and uploading evidence of corporations and world corruption in regards to pollution and climate change. This, of course, led to public outrage and hurt corporate profits both from consumers not purchasing as much as they once did from said companies- and worse- it meant that these corporations would have to actually implement safer practices, which was expensive.

Their armies of lobbyists even failed to turn governments to their side, because so many constituents and voters were vehemently on the side of Envira. However, all these came to a head just a few years ago when she was abducted by a hit squad sent from a conglomeration of corporations, MedUSA among them. The kill team was meant to simply murder her and dispose of the body, ensuring that she simply disappeared. However, they decided poetic justice would be funny, and took her to a toxic waste dump. As she kicked and pleaded for her life, they lowered her into a vat of glowing goo. However, after a few moments under, the chain fell loose. Moment later, she leapt over the side of the massive container and charged her assailants.

The men emptied entire clips of bullets into the now irradiated woman, but she reached them and found they literally melted in her hands. Some tried to escape, but being close to her, they slowly developed radiation burns and did not even reach their vehicle before seeming to die. However, she watched as they rose to their feet. They came back to her, and she found they seemed to obey her every command. She soon learned that she could not breathe clean air or be outside of deadly, toxic conditions. Her minions seemed weakened as well when they strayed too far from her or a radioactive or poisonous area.

She had witnessed so much evil in the world, and was now toxic to the very Earth she had wanted to heal. However, with all that had happened, she became a twisted soul, and longed now to make the world a place where she could walk freely. If humans wanted a dying world, she’d give it to them. Her mission is nothing less than to pollute and toxify everything on the surface. Can Trixie stand up against such a foe, or will she become one of the Toxsick, happily poisoning the people and creatures of the world?
