The Gypsy Camp refers to the gypsy settlement on the lands of Anaximanes Ravenhurst. The gypsies originally hailed from Russia, Hungary, and other nations. They were consistently shunned from the cities, but found solace by Theodore Ravenhurst. The gypsies were able to live on the land, and soon one of their members, Nadya, birthed Mizah Červeňák. Mizah became a friend of Anaximanes, growing along with the boy. Her camp was consistently under scorn by the nearby town of Wakefield, but the protection of the Ravenhursts allowed them stability. Mizah ended up caught in the schemes of Eleanora Blackwood and Dionyza, whom had the intent of making a love potion for Anaximanes. Stealing the potion, Mizah brought misfortune on her camp when her mother was killed the next day. The plots continued, and Mizah had to not only overturn Wakefield's opinions but those of her own camp as well, whom had started calling Ravenhurst a boogeyman. When Anaximanes was wrongly accused of murder, Mizah was an outspoken figure for his innocence. After his death, she tried to help his soul find peace.

Soon, the Shadow Lord The Anax came on Halloween to gather souls on Ghost Nook Island. At first trying to redeem his soul, Mizah and the gypsies later had to erect magical barriers to prevent The Anax from entering their camp. The camp remained a safe haven for lost wanderers on those nights, able to avoid the Anax within the camp. When Evelyn Addams and her group came to the island, Mizah was the sole gypsy left. The rest of her camp had either died over the previous century, or left the land. Evelyn sought protection with Mizah when the Anax was chasing her. In one brutal display of power, The Anax broke through the barriers of the camp, and sent Mizah's home barreling through the air. She died giving one final act of protection, the gypsy camp now vacant.
