Notes and Trivia
Kay Thorndike is a sailor at heart, which comes with living your life on the banks of Big Moose Lake. Kay scarcely left the area growing up, and if the weather permitted not a day passed that she did not sail on the lake. In her teenage years, a group of kids took a boat to Ghost Nook Island. She had heard the same ghost stories they all had, but that Halloween, what Kay saw, never left her mind. They had come in the morning, and around noon, the group stumbled upon the twisted tree in the Haunted Woods! They ran all the way back to the boat, and spent time laughing and drinking illegally. After night fell, a girl screamed, and Kay’s eyes along with the others, looked where she pointed, and there on the shore stood The Anax!
Her terror bubbled, and even the young men seemed scared. Some thought it was someone playing a joke, but the entire thing felt too real. She could almost feel electricity in the air. The Anax beckoned them to shore with a long claw, Kay shook the boy that had brought them, urging him to drive away, and he did! Kay watched The Anax stand on the shore until they circled around the island to the cliffs and sped away! The image never left her mind, and their story went into the pile with the others that had stacked over the years. When the women contacted Kay about passage to Ghost Nook, she hesitated. No one else would dare go there, especially on Halloween, but she had incurred debt over the years and acquiesced. She tried to warn the girls to let her take them back to Webb, but they refused. Kay does not dare step foot on Ghost Nook Island, for she fears- The Anax!
Transformation
Kay had thought she was safe on the boat. But when The Anax found a way to destroy that too, it was only time. She trapped herself among the Black Rocks. The Anax reached out a shadowed claw, and discovered claustrophobia was her worst fear. He began to turn it to a fetish. In her corruption to become a Shadowed, The Anax imprisoned Kay inside a deep, dark pit. He taunts her to come up to him, and when she responds in anger, he lowers the ceiling. Kay tries physically holding the ceiling up. As The Anax dampens her resolve, she starts to lose hope and ground. She ends up crushed underneath a rectangular mass, kneeling prone; trapped. She shouts her agreement to giving up her soul. The Anax twists it to better serve himself.

Notes and Trivia
Kay had been a sailor her entire life, and brought the girls to Ghost Nook Island. Though she remained behind in the boat, she had no idea that it would give her no safety. As soon as The Anax converted Brittany into a slave, she told him about Kay and the boat, and he quickly went to find her. He succeeded, and she recognized him from decades before. The Anax destroyed her boat as she fled along the coast, until she trapped herself among the Black Rocks, a series of dark rocks along the south east coast of the island. She pushed herself between the rocks, but he merely toyed with her! The Anax entered her mind, and found her fear of closed spaces.
After enslaving her, he returned to the Haunted Woods, and she was to check the Old Tower. She confronted Eve, but Evelyn managed to escape when Kay slipped in the mud. She found her on the coast, later in the night, only to have Evelyn conjure an intensely powerful shadow bolt! The dark energy ripped through Kay, burning holes through her and searing her gray flesh. She felt blackness claim her, but awoke sometime later, as her body regenerated. Eve later passed by, and Kay tried to threaten her, but she could not speak. Later, she swarmed Evelyn with the other Shadowed slaves, and Evelyn banished her with the others into the Outer Darkness. Now, Kay lurks about the dark plane of existence.
