Ghost Nook Island

Ghost Nook Island is an island found in the center of Big Moose Lake in upstate New York. It had not previously been an island, but had become as such when the water rose over the previous century. The town of Wakefield is nearby, and along the forest is Ravenhurst Manor. The island is extremely hard to find passage to, due to superstition surrounding it. On the island is the Twisted Tree, the hanging location of Anaximanes Ravenhurst. Superstition holds that The Anax comes back on Halloween to search for souls on the island. Ghost Nook is the primary location of the novel The Anax: Call of the Cursed One.
