Notable Characters
In the novel The Anax: Call of the Cursed One, the entity known as The Anax subjects women to their worst fears. One such woman is Shiloh Hazeldine, whom has arachnophobia. In her corruption to become a Shadowed, the Anax takes on the form of a spider hybrid. Shiloh gets bound in webs, as a single spider crawls up her. Shrieking and throwing it off, she rattles the nest and starts to get swarmed by spiders. The spiders all bit at once, and paralyzed the woman. As more crawled over her paralyzed form, she accepted The Anax's deal; she sold her soul.
